A Lovely Day

I finished my exhaustive edit after taking some of Holly Lisle’s courses (or what I call getting a clue), and the results have been extremely pleasing.  Everything had wrapped itself up in ways I didn’t expect, but was overjoyed to discover.  Now comes the copyediting phase, and then I’ll send it to the book packager.  That means, with any luck, I could have LIFE ON FIRE published on Amazon in a month, month and a half.

In come the nerves.  I wasn’t blessed with natural confidence, and I’ve had to build it up over the past year with friends and family.  That still isn’t the same as putting it all out there.  For EVERYONE.  Thick skin, or no, these stories are very personal.  I’ve laughed and cried with my characters, loved and hated.  So wish me luck!
